Absolutely Disgusting Service – Worst Experience Ever!
I am beyond disappointed and absolutely disgusted by the service we received from this company. This has genuinely been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.
We placed our order well in advance, as we needed the lamp for an important event. The website stated that delivery would take about 5 days, which seemed perfectly reasonable, especially considering that they are based in Durban and so are we!
Instead, it took almost 20 DAYS for us to receive our order with no communication what so ever!
For over a week, we tried desperately to contact them through emails and Instagram DMs, with absolutely no response. We eventually had to resort to commenting publicly on their Instagram posts just to get some form of communication from them. They had the audacity to delete our comment yet not communicate with us. The fact that a paying customer has to go to such lengths to receive a simple update on an order is completely unacceptable.
We repeatedly explained that we had an event on the Friday and urgently needed the lamp. I even managed to speak to someone over the phone after multiple days of trying to contact them, who was neither helpful nor apologetic about the situation. Despite clearly explaining how urgent the delivery was and being told it needed to go out that day, they STILL failed to dispatch it and act with any urgency.
After constantly following up, practically begging for our own order and dealing with an unbelievable lack of communication, the lamp was eventually delivered at the very last minute, just before our event was about to begin!
The amount of unnecessary stress, frustration and inconvenience this company caused us was absolutely ridiculous. We paid for a product and expected a basic level of professionalism, communication and service. Instead, we were met with complete disregard for our time and the urgency of our situation.
What makes this even worse is the complete lack of accountability, urgency or even a genuine apology throughout this entire ordeal.
I would NEVER EVER purchase from this company again and I have already shared this terrible experience with friends and family.
I am absolutely appalled by how this business treats its customers. Having to chase a company for days especially within the same city, is completely unacceptable.
Absolutely shocking, unprofessional and disappointing service. I would not recommend this company to anyone!
